At William T. Brown Elementary School, our goal is to educate young children by providing a variety of meaningful learning experiences that will contribute to their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Our staff is committed to helping students become well-adjusted contributing members of an ever-changing, technologically-driven society.

The entire staff holds to a strong belief that ALL children can learn when the instruction is individualized and tailored to meet the unique needs of the students. We have expectations for our students to be successful and we know they will rise to the challenge when they are in a loving, nurturing safe and caring environment.

Teachers utilize a variety of teaching techniques that actively engage students in the learning process. They take advantage of the many professional development opportunities that the Cumberland County Schools provide and work toward implementing effective strategies in their classrooms.
