School Uniform Policy

Uniform Dress Code

Our uniform guidelines are listed below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.

Female Uniform Code of Dress

Shirts: White, yellow, light blue, navy blue, black. Polo style (long or short sleeve with collar), oxford style (button-down collar), turtleneck, or school T-shirt. 

Slacks/Shirts/Skirt/Jumper: Solid, khaki, navy blue, black, (Shorts/Skirts and Jumpers must be knee-length)

Shoes: Solid black, brown or white

Socks: White, black, brown or navy (plain-no designs)

Sweaters: Solid navy blue, light blue, black, white, pullover, cardigan or vest.

Sweatshirt: Solid navy blue, light blue, black, yellow, white or the school sweatshirt (no logos, except WT Brown logo)

Belts: Brown or black

Leggings: Must be solid uniform colors. White, black, navy or light blue. If worn, they should be worn with a skirt/skort.

Important Reminders

  • It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to purchase uniforms for their children. The school will not provide uniforms. 
  • Kindergarten parent(s) please consider sending an extra uniform set for your child to keep at school.
  • Shirttails must be tucked inside of slacks, shorts, or skirts.
  • No baggy or sagging pants.
  • If belt loops are visible, a solid colored black or brown belt must be worn.
  • No boots, light up shoes, sandals or shoes with wheels in the heels
  • No cargo pants
  • Student headgear (hats, scarves, headbands, hoodies, etc.) are prohibited.
  • School t-shirts may be worn only on Friday. 

Dress Code Update-Effective September 24, 2019

  1. All Cumberland County Schools will make any necessary religious accommodations for any type of headgear or head coverings otherwise restricted or prohibited under existing individual school dress codes.
  2. No student shall receive Out of School Suspension based solely upon a violation of an existing individual school dress code.
